Power & Stride Wins Highest Honor!
Power & Stride won first place from the National Federation of Presswomen in the biography/autobiography category.
The book also won the North Dakota Professional Communicator's Award for 2009 and was nominated for the Minnesota Book Award in the Minnesota History category.
Power & Stride showcased in NDSU Alumni Magazine's Fall 2009 issue
"It all began in a college speech class. The assignment: a speech of tribute to someone you admire. First-year student, Kari Hagen, from Roseau, Minnesota, took the podium with confidence and left it with a classroom of 24 students and me, the teacher, in tears.
