Horseback Riding Lessons

Power and Stride offers horseback riding lessons to riders ages 6 and up from first time beginners to advanced riders specializing in balanced seat western riding and barrel racing, gymkhana/gaming and horsemanship. We believe in setting short and long term goals for each rider, and providing the correct direction in order obtain positive results.
Students (or parents with younger students) are expected to be able to get their assigned horse from the paddock, tack up and be ready for their scheduled lesson time. For brand new riders, this is where your lesson will start! We want to promote our students to be independent and build relationships on the ground with the horse they are assigned to for their lesson.

Packages and Pricing
Power and Stride offers the option of purchasing 1 lesson at a time or packages consisting of 5 lessons. We schedule lessons Monday through Friday, and currently do not offer lessons on the weekends.

Our facebook page is often a great way to see any possible open lesson time slots! Single lessons and packages are non refundable.
Cancellation Policy
-Cancellations must be made as soon as possible and at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson to avoid a cancellation fee.
-If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson, or you are a no call-no show, you will be charged the full cost of your lesson.
-If you are a no call-no show 2 times, you will lose your spot in our lesson program.
-If you cancel multiple times in a row, you will be charged after 2 habitual non-emergency cancellations, and all after, or you may lose your spot on our schedule.
We understand it is the season where sickness is around every corner. Also, life happens and we can’t control that, but our Power and Stride family is continually growing with new boarders and students. Proper notice of a cancellation helps us to use our time as effectively as possible, as well as letting our volunteers/working students re-organize their schedules as well!
